Frequently Asked Questions

What is AMOR?

A Month of Radioapple is a month-long event dedicated to the radioapple/appleradio fandom and its supporters.

How does it work?

Every day of February, a single-word prompt will be released at 12 PM EST. You will have 24 hours to create a piece of work - writing or art - that is inspired by that word.Once you are finished, you will post to social media/ao3 and fill out a form with a link to your entry. All entries submitted within the 24 hour timeframe each day will be entered into a raffle for one of our prizes that will be drawn at the end of the event.

Who can participate?

Anyone above the age of 18 can participate, regardless of skill level.

What kind of works count?

Any kind of art or writing submitted within the timeframe will be counted.Don't normally draw or write but always wanted to try? Do you create things that are not a typical media? Want to use this event as a way to warm-up before working on other projects? Then this is the event for you!The point of this event is not to have a polished piece of work but instead to exercise your brain muscles and create something quick and "on the fly". If that means a loose sketch, a 100 word drabble, a fast, messy painting on paper - it counts!

Do I have to start from #1 and do them all in order?

No! You are welcome to skip any prompts that you don't vibe with and start with any number. Just make sure that you are labelling your work with the number & the prompt word.Just remember that more entries = more chances to win a prize.

What kinds of prizes are there?

We will have commission-style writing and art prizes! For every day participants submit work within the 24-hour timeframe, they will receive one entry towards the raffle. At the end of the project, we will compile all of the entries and choose the winners.Prizes will be radioapple/appleradio only. You can find a list of offered prizes here. While you may ask for whatever you would like, the content of prizes will be determined by each individual creator regarding their own personal boundaries and comfortabilities. If they are uncomfortable with your request, you will need to choose something else.NOTE: You will only receive one entry per day. If you submit a piece for 28 days, you will receive a total of 28 entries. If you submit a piece for 15 days, you will receive 15 entries, etc. You can only win one prize per year of participation.

Are works created for this event exclusive to it?

Absolutely not! If you would like to expand on any of your works done for this event at a later date, please feel free! This event is meant to grow our community, bring us together, exercise our minds, and explore new ideas! And if any of these prompts spark further inspiration in you to create a more finished piece - have at it!

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to shoot us a DM on our Bluesky.

Rules

1. Due to the nature and content of Hazbin Hotel, you must be 18+ to participate. No exceptions.2. All entries must be new - you may not submit works that you have already created.3. Finished pieces are not required - submissions can be any length or stage of completion. This is meant to be a fun project to stretch your brain muscles. You do not need to submit full-length fics or rendered illustrations if you don't want to.4. No harassing, bullying, or trolling anyone on this project - this includes leads, prize-givers, and participants. If you are found to be doing any of these things, you will be immediately disqualified from winning a prize.5. Any dynamics and topics are okay - Dead dove, NSFW, etc. Just make sure that you tag your works before you post them. We only ask that the relationship depicted in your works is radioapple/appleradio only as this is meant to be a project showcasing this specific ship.

Participation

1. Starting February 1st, visit our Bluesky every day at 12 PM EST to see the prompt word of the day. It will be one single word.2. You will have 24 hours to create something based on that prompt. All prompts can be interpretted as you please - there is no one correct answer and we are not looking for anything specific.3. Post your entry on your social media/ao3. Use the hashtag #amor2027. There will also be a collection on ao3 you can add your fics to. Entries posted on other social media platforms will be counted upon submission to the form, however we will only be posting the prompt word to Bluesky & Carrd.4. Submit the link to your entry. There will be a google form for you to fill out daily. You must fill out the form within the 24 hour timeframe for your entry to be counted - just because you post on social media does not automatically mean your entry was counted - it simply means that we are able to see it. Also make sure you are submitting the link to the chapter/post for the specified date and not just the whole fic/thread.5. Saturdays will be free days - you may come up with your own word that we have not used yet and create a work inspired by that, or you can simply skip that day - just make sure you submit your form!
